Pressure Gauge
Vedika Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Pressure Gauge Manufacturers in Uttar Pradesh. Industrial Pressure Gauges measures the pressure of a gas or liquid within a system. It monitors the fluid pressure in various applications, such as automotive, aerospace, medical, and manufacturing industries. Measuring the pressure in a system is critical to ensure the consistency of a product and a measure of safety to be aware of leaks or building pressure in a system. Before specifying a pressure gauge, it is important to understand the basic principles of pressure. This article covers how pressure gauges work and how to select one for an application.
Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge
A bourdon pressure gauge is the most common type of pressure gauge and it uses a curved tube that straightens under pressure and shows the reading on a dial. Key features of them are: high accuracy, high precision, resistance to vibration, and easy maintenance.
Diaphragm-type Pressure Gauge
A diaphragm pressure gauge uses the deflection of a thin, flexible membrane to measure fluid pressure in a system. The diaphragm isolates internal components from the media, making this gauge suitable for corrosive or contaminated liquids or gasses. This gauge is used for low-pressure measurements, such as measuring atmospheric pressure or monitoring pressure in gas canisters. They are also referred to as flexible membrane pressure gauges.
Diffrerential Pressure Gauge
DPG is a low cost, diaphragm operated, differential pressure gauge. This can be used in applications for measuring positive, negative, or differential pressure with an accuracy of 2%. Standard applications include monitoring filter status, duct static pressure, room pressure, fan or blower pressure, paint booths, dust collectors, and cabinet purging along with many others.
Contact type Pressure gauges
Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, contact pressure gauges find their application. The switch contacts (also called alarm contacts) make or break circuits dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument.
